Apple’s foldable iPhone may be more affordable than expected: Ming-Chi Kuo explains how

Apple is expected to launch its first foldable iPhone, likely called iPhone 18 Fold, in September 2026. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says its hinge may cost $70–$80 due to Foxconn–SZS design optimisation, helping Apple lower prices or boost margins. The device may feature a 7.8-inch book-style display.
