Sunita Williams stuck in space: Why did NASA schedule her return to Earth in 2025?

NASA confirmed that the Boeing Starliner capsule will return from the ISS without astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore. They will return to Earth in February 2025 aboard SpaceX's Dragon capsule.
