WhatsApp bans over 6.5 million accounts in India suggests report

WhatsApp has taken action against over 6.5 million problematic accounts in India in May, according to the new IT Rules 2021. In April, over 7.4 million accounts were banned. WhatsApp has also introduced a QR code chat transfer feature for users to switch devices.
