India reports 15,906 new Covid cases, 561 deaths in last 24 hours

India has reported more than 500 deaths for the second straight day. The country had reported 666 daily Covid-19 deaths yesterday.The active cases have continued to show a downward trend. A total of 1,134 active cases were reported in a day.
