Mahindra recalls 1,577 units of Thar SUV over faulty camshaft

Mahindra has announced that it will recall 1,577 units of the new-generation Thar SUV's diesel variant, manufactured between September 7 and December 25, 2020. The company claims that a machine setting error on specific dates, at the supplier's plant, might have affected camshafts in certain engines. Customers will be individually contacted by Mahindra and the affected part will be replaced free of cost.
