Jeff Bezos to step down as Amazon CEO

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos will step down as the CEO and will take on the role of executive chairman in the third quarter, the company announced on Tuesday. The 57-year-old will be replaced by Andy Jassy, who currently leads the Amazon Web Services (AWS). In a letter to employees, Bezos said this move isn't about retiring and he would stay engaged in important initiatives.
