Venugopal Dhoot claims Deepak Kochhar threatened to tarnish his reputation

Videocon Industries promoter Venugopal Dhoot, who is being probed by the Enforcement Directorate for money laundering, is learned to have told the agency that Deepak Kochhar threatened to ruin his reputation by declaring his loans as non-performing assets, prematurely. Kochhar is the husband of former ICICI CEO Chanda Kochhar and allegedly coerced Dhoot to transfer flats to a family trust's name at throwaway prices.
