Contempt case: SC serves notices to comedian Kunal Kamra, cartoonist

On Friday, the Supreme Court decided that the contempt petitions filed against comedian Kunal Kamra and cartoonist Rachita Taneja shouldn't be junked, and instead proceeded with the matter by serving notices to both of them. They were allowed to not appear in person but were directed to respond to the notice within six weeks. Eight people have filed cases against them. Here's more.
