RBI keeps key rates unchanged, predicts decline in real GDP

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on Friday addressed the press to disclose decisions taken by the Monetary Policy Committee and spoke about the revival of the Indian economy, which was adversely affected due to coronavirus-facilitated lockdown. The apex bank decided to keep key rates — repo and reverse repo rate — unchanged. The repo rate stands at 4% and the reverse repo rate at 3.3%.
