Afghanistan cricketer Najeeb Tarakai passes away at 29

Afghanistan's top-order batsman Najeeb Tarakai, on Tuesday, passed away after sustaining injuries in a road accident. According to news reports, Najeeb was struck by a car while crossing the road at Eastern Nangarhar, last week. He was then brought to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he also underwent surgery. The Afghanistan Cricket Board recently confirmed the unfortunate development.
