NASA astronauts begin trip home on SpaceX Dragon with weather OK

In the return flight, the Dragon will be traveling at about 17,500 miles per hour (28,160 kilometers per hour) before re-entering the Earth’s atmosphere, where it will rapidly slow and heat up.
