Defence ministry to embargo import of military hardware items in push for local

Defence minister Rajnath Singh tweeted that the list will include some high technology weapon systems like artillery guns and assault rifles to fulfil defence services' needs.The embargo on imports is planned to be progressively implemented between 2020 to 2024
