Covid-19 impact: Western Railway suffers loss of ₹1770.18 crore

In a bid to stop the spread of covid-19 all passenger trains were stopped since 22 March 2020 by Indian Railways.Western Railway had to suffer a loss of ₹260.69 crore for suburban services and ₹1509.49 crore for non-suburban services
